Over the years, real estate developer Mohamed Hadid has lived in some incredibly luxurious homes. While some of his past abodes (like the mansion he sold for $56 million in 2018) have featured high-end amenities like movie theaters, spectacular views, and stunning outdoor space, his daughter Bella Hadid didn't exactly love spending time in them during her younger years.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo Tuesday, November 19 at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

A recent interview with Vogue explains that while Bella didn't grow up in her dad's mansions, the weekends she spent in them made her feel like she was living a “borrowed life." Because those houses were built with the intention to be sold, Vogue explains Bella's "room never had any of her clothing, never a single stuffed animal."

"My dad didn’t grow up with a lot at all, so to be very grand with everything he does—this was his way to make his father in heaven proud,” shared Bella, whose mom is The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Yolanda Hadid. “At that age, I didn’t understand it. I just knew that being in his houses wasn’t super comfortable for me.”

These days, Bella has her own lavish home in Manhattan, which Vogue notes the model admitted was "a splurge of a rental." She also spends plenty of time at the farm that she, Yolanda, and Gigi Hadid have owned since 2017. Bella documented many of their days on the Pennsylvania property in 2020, including sweet moments cooking together, bonding with animals, and planting an abundance of lavender. While each of them has lived in various homes throughout their lives, this one is particularly special to them. As Gigi explained to Elle in 2019: "It’s where we can all come and feel like ourselves again."
