Lisa Vanderpump: And So We Begin...
Lisa Vanderpump reveals the one thing that has withstood the past seven seasons of RHOBH.
And so we begin the extraordinary adventure that we embarked on so many years ago.
It's number 8. The seven seasons behind us have encompassed a plethora of opportunities, emotionally charged scenarios that have been challenging to say the least, and insurmountable highs, as we have navigated the treacherous waters of reality television.
What has withstood the test of time would be the intricate friendship between Kyle and myself. It blossomed and flourished as we bonded over many hilarious situations, clung to each other, supportively chastised our differences, and at times floundered as third parties often intervened. Both of our lives have matured as we have cultivated our passions, raised our children, and immersed ourselves in projects we could only have dreamt of.
One of the joys of riding this train has been to observe the growth of our friends, to see Erika fulfilling her ambitions, to witness the children mature with Jagger talking and Lisa's beautiful girls developing their modeling careers. It's all documented and a wonderful story to cherish.
So as we venture forward, all is well, and we are introduced to Miss Teddi, whom I believe to be a genuine, down-to-earth young woman who is refreshingly honest and that holds steadfast in her resolve as she encounters various situations. But, as often happens when a new cog is entered into the complex machinations of a group of women, things can rapidly change...
In my life, many things have transpired: our dog rescue center was brought to fruition this year, our documentary, The Road To Yulin and Beyond, was completed (which was an arduous task), a new restaurant is in development, and also I was privileged to be bestowed the honor of being editor in chief of Beverly Hills Lifestyle Magazine.
We were largely unprepared for all that opening a sanctuary entails, like endless accounts of abuse, but you will see the many rewarding moments that have ensued...
So I hope you all have a wonderful holiday. Snuggle down, relax, and invest in our personal stories this season. Stay safe and savour the good moments life has to offer.
As the fires have raged and wreaked havoc in so many lives here in California, I thank the many who have kept us safe and value every moment.
Until next week.
As always...
Love,
