If you’re a parent, then Dorit Kemsley’s current project is totally relatable: She’s cleaning out her playroom, the most dreaded task of all! Why? Because as all moms know, the playroom is your home’s dumping ground for every toy, stuffed animal, and noisy instrument to go when you’re cleaning the rest of your house.
Random Mr. Potato Head arm? Throw it in the playroom. Plastic book that plays a screeching song? Toss it in the playroom! Humongous truck that you keep tripping over in the kitchen? For the love of God, get that thing tucked away in the playroom!
But all that junk — er, we mean all those beloved toys and kiddo “treasures”— pile up. And before you know it, your playroom is so unorganized that your kids don’t even want to play in there anymore. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills bathing suit designer is totally there right now.
“Trying to organize our playroom and work through our 'donating' pile,” Dorit captioned an adorable video of her “musical munchkins” singing into a microphone and playing a mini-piano that she shared with her Instagram followers.
The great news is that Dorit isn’t just tossing her stuff out, but is instead giving away the items to those in need. “Donating lots of toys, stuffed animals and books,” she captioned another video. “I’d love any suggestions of where we can donate Thank you!”
Dorit’s definitely nailing it — helping others and cleaning out her playroom, done and done!
