Shereé Whitfield Has a “Crazy” Story of How She Got Injured Trying on a Rain Boot
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member detailed how she hurt herself while shopping in a department store.
On the July 17 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Shereé Whitfield arrived at Marlo Hampton’s house ready to depart for a getaway with her castmates. However, Marlo was immediately taken aback when she saw Shereé’s footwear for the day. “I didn’t know you were in a damn boot!” Marlo exclaimed after pointing out Shereé’s “[broken] foot.”
“I had to get the boot today,” Shereé explained. “My foot’s swollen. I cannot put a shoe on. [The] only thing I can wear is a slide.”
In an episode interview, Shereé shared more about the surprising way she was injured. “I’m in a department store, and I am trying on some rain boots,” she said. “I put my foot down in the boot, this baby toe got stuck on the side, and I’m pushing down, and just imagine: The baby toe stayed here, and my foot went down. It was crazy.”
Of course, Marlo was already thinking about how to put a fashionable touch on Shereé’s medical walking boot. “We’re gonna put some rhinestones on that thing,” she said.
While Shereé seemed into the idea, not all Bravolebs feel the same way. In July 2021, after Gizelle Bryant broke her toe in three places, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member showed her boot to BravoTV.com (see the video below) and declared, “I don’t wanna bedazzle it. I don’t want to paint it. Because I want it to go away.”
“This is not sexy,” she said. “This is making my hot girl summer be delayed.”
