Self-Quarantine Life Has Led Porsha Williams to Make a Major Hair Change

Porsha Williams has been making the most out of self-quarantine life: The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom has retuned to her TV hosting duties with the fiercest work-from-home ensembles, she made sure daughter Pilar Jhena had an incredible 1st birthday at "Club Quarantine," and she's been producing the funniest at-home TikTok videos. Porsha has embraced this new lifestyle so much she's even taken on a new look with its own persona, dubbed "Quarentina."
It all began on Wednesday, April 1, when Porsha posted a shocking TikTok clip captioned "Big Chop." In the video, Porsha took a pair of scissors and cut off a few of her long braids from the roots. "It’s a new day," she wrote. Naturally, people freaked out as soon as they saw this clip. Was Porsha really about to make the big chop? Or was the ATL jokester playing an April Fools prank on us all? After all, this wouldn't be the first time Porsha tricked us with a hair illusion. Remember the time she faked a buzz cut?
All our questions seemed to be answered when Porsha shared an Instagram post on Thursday, April 2. In the new photo, Porsha appeared with a completely different hairstyle. The Go Naked Hair co-founder now has a sleek black 'do featuring wispy bangs (aka "Quarentina"). "Hey y’all #NewLook," she wrote.
Still, we were left with a few questions. Did Porsha actually make the big chop and she's covering it up with this new wig? Or were those braids she cut off part of a wig and all she did was simply switch hair units?
