Nene Leakes Is "Officially Thick" and Unbothered in a New Photo
The Real Housewives of Atlanta stunner shared a very honest update on her figure after stepping on the scale.
Fluctuating weight is a completely normal thing (as both Padma Lakshmi and Rihanna have confirmed). 'Tis life: sometimes you lose weight, sometimes you gain it. And with snacking being perhaps one of the most commonly increased activities over the past few months due to shelter-in-place orders, more and more celebs have become very open about their recent weight changes.
Both Marlo Hampton and Porsha Williams have gotten real about their recent relatable eating habits and weight gain, and now Nene Leakes is opening up about her newfound thickness.
On May 19, The Real Housewives of Atlanta OG shared a stunning photo of herself on Instagram. In the snap, Nene looked fab in silky blue pajama top detailed with shoulder cut-outs. She paired her cozy 'fit with a soft, flowy makeup look, and her blonde mane was styled in a long, low ponytail.
In her caption, Nene was raw and vulnerable: "I took this picture yesterday and was hesitant about posting it because i looked thick to me and people be so Judgy," she revealed. "Well i stepped on the scale this morning.....I’m officially thick!"
Thick or slim, Nene is unbothered. In the caption, she dared fans to go on and talk about her. "I’m working on a better me daily," she added along with the hashtag "Mindset of greatness."
