Cynthia Bailey gets her eyebrows microbladed
On December 24, Cynthia took to her Instagram page to share a video of herself lying down in what appeared to be the room of a beauty technician. The technician seemed to be working on Cynthia's eyebrows as the Atlanta mom documented the full process.
In her caption, Cynthia explained the process in detail.
"[B]een on the fence about getting my brows microbladed for years. [I] finally decided to go for it & always have heard from my friends that have had it done that [Mileide Marques] was the best in Atlanta!" Cynthia captioned the post in which the technician slowly but surely worked on perfecting her brows.
Cynthia continued: "[I] only wear makeup when I am working & filming so I wanted to make sure that my brows looked natural with & without makeup. Milly gave me exactly what i wanted & i love my results! i highly recommend. [W]hat do you guys think?"
According to Cosmopolitan, microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo process that uses a "blade-shaped tool" with tiny needles that works to "create hair-like strokes along your brows while depositing pigment into your skin."
The intended result is realistic and fluffy-looking brow hairs that take about a year or more to wash away.
Other Bravolebrities who have undergone microblading
Several Bravolebrities have taken on the procedure in recent years.
Earlier this year, The Real Housewives of Potomac's Robyn Dixon achieved a "natural" look via licensed tattoo artist Nikki Fraser who credited [Bowler Esthetics] for their ".18mm 11 slant blade" tool that provided the "[fluffy strokes]" to give Robyn's brows a perfected appearance.
Then, in June, we caught up with Vanderpump Rules cast member Scheana Shay who got her brows done by her go-to microblading specialist, Lucy Hart.
“I hate wearing makeup all the time!” Scheana wrote over the Instagram Story of herself undergoing the process. A close-up of the results revealed a clean arch and line along with natural-looking fill-in strokes that definitely provided a beautiful shape.
Moreover, in August, RHOP's Ashley Darby took on the process, sharing with her followers via Instagram that the whole thing was "virtually painless."
“I’m gonna have beautiful brows all the time,” she added, noting that Brows by Tuull did hers. “I’m so excited. The best thing ever. I don’t know why it took me so long, but I’m glad I did [it].”
