Taylor Swift Reveals Sleep-Eating Issue Causes Her to Act Like a "Like a Raccoon in a Dumpster"
Taylor Swift opened up to Ellen DeGeneres about eating in her sleep, and not remembering her actions when she wakes.
Taylor Swift returned to the Ellen DeGeneres show for the first time in four years, and she gave fans a rather stunning little tidbit of information about her personal life... presented jokingly.
She joined the show's host for the so-called "Burning Questions" game, and responded to a question about what she does when she finds herself unable to sleep at night. That's when the pop star admitted that she "sleep eats" — and doesn't even remember the behavior when she wakes up the next day.
She explained that she "rummages through the kitchen and eats what she can find." Painting a rather vivid visual picture, Swift said, "It's really less human being and more like a raccoon in a dumpster. The next morning we walk downstairs and think, 'what happened here?'... It's not really voluntary."
Confused, DeGeneres asked, "Does that help you sleep? Do you sleep eat?"
And Swift replied, "I think so. I don't really remember it, but I know it happens because it could only have been me... or cats."
DeGeneres: "It sounds like you got an issue."
Swift summed it up: "Yup."
