100-Pound Kourtney Kardashian Is Back on the Keto Diet: "My Body Never Looked Better"
Kourtney Kardashian laid out her plans for a month-long diet tweak.
Kourtney Kardashian has always been open about the regimented diet she follows to maintain her 100-pound physique. (For what it's worth: She's never advocated 100 pounds as the gold standard of health for everyone, nor do we. Kourtney is only about five feet tall.) And now that she has her lifestyle website Poosh, the Keeping up with the Kardashians sister has another platform on which to divulge her eating tips. (Even if her salad recipe was met with some mixed reviews.)
In a recent post for the site, Kourtney tackled a popular topic: the Keto Diet. While there are celebs who swear by it and others who most definitely do not, the mom of three has given the low-carb eating plan her seal of approval in the past. And now, she's decided to return to her Keto ways.
Here's why: "My body never looked better than when I did the keto diet two and half years ago, when I did it for two months," Kourtney wrote. "In my experience, I’ve found the best method to train my body to curb sugar cravings, burn fat, and kick-start weight loss is by sticking to a keto diet."
So, here's what's on the agenda for the next month: "My plan this time is to eat minimal carbs and no grains, beans, or legumes," she shared. "I’m focusing my meals on fresh vegetables and lean proteins. I eat three meals a day with no snacking in between if possible."
Kourtney also laid out what she plans to eat while following the diet. Breakfast is an avocado smoothie with ingredients like blue-green algae (Kim's also a fan of sea-plant-packed smoothies). For lunch, she'll have a protein-based chef salad. And for dinner, Kourtney will be nibbling on chicken or salmon with a riced veggie. Just call it Kourt's #summereboot.
