In 2015, the urban rodent went viral for claiming an entire slice of New York City pizza for its wee self, dragging it down a flight of subway stairs in an impressive conquest. To date, it has nearly 11 million views on YouTube.
It was a nice run, Pizza Rat, but it's time for some stiff competition at the top of the hangry urban wildlife food chain: Enter... Egg Roll Squirrel.
In a short video clip shared by the Twitter feed @whatisNY, our hero positively chows down on a human-sized egg roll, handled dexterously by the animal holding court in a tree. As the caption notes, "Doesn't look like this squirrel's first egg roll."
