Tom Schwartz Says Katie Flood Is "a 10 out of 10," But He Has a "Problem" with *This*
Tom Schwartz also revealed where he currently stands with his ex-wife, Katie Maloney.
Is romance in the air in Steamboat Springs, Colorado? For Vanderpump Rules' Tom Schwartz and Below Deck Mediterranean's Katie Flood, the answer just might be yes, as the two Winter House cast members seemingly hit it off on Season 3, Episode 2 on Oct. 31.
Even Summer House's Kyle Cooke seemed convinced that there was something between the pair. As he put it when talking to Tom, "I think you guys would vibe."

In conversation with Kyle as well as Brian Benni and Kory Keefer, Tom said, "Katie's a 10 out of 10 for me."
Kyle made his "vibe" comment at that point, to which Tom replied, "I don't know if I'm vibe-worthy right now."
There was a caveat, though. "If it happens organically, I'm not gonna fight it," Tom added. "I'm open to love."
He elaborated on his attraction for Katie in a confessional interview, explaining, "Katie seems instantly likable. I mean, I've always been a sucker for an accent. I think she's objectively beautiful."
Tom's only concern? As he put it, "[I] did have a problem with the name."

On that note, Tom later provided an update on where he stands with his ex-wife — and to Katie Flood, no less. The topic arose when she asked him if he's "dated anyone" since his divorce.
"No," he responded. "I miss the stability of having a home and having a wife. I loved it."
As for his current status with Katie Maloney, Tom noted, "We're fully divorced, but our friendship is on hiatus now."
"I just want her to be happy, go fall in love. I don't know," he added. "I'm rooting for her though."

Explaining where he's at this stage in the game, Tom said in a confessional, "However I pictured my life, I never thought I would be single at 40. Everything is scary now. There's dating apps... I just feel like I don't know what the hell I'm doing."
He expressed a similar sentiment to Katie Flood: "I have no need or desire to be in a relationship and I'm not looking for love, but you never know."
Her response? "It always bites you in the ass and it's like 'Oh f-ck, here we go.'"
"Here we go," Tom echoed.
Katie Flood's Dating Life
When it comes to Katie's love life, she told Tom she's "obviously super single."
This piqued his interest, as he replied, "Super single?"
Katie also shared an important philosophy of hers with Tom. As she put it, "I'm a big believer in, you've gotta be good with your stuff before you can be good in a relationship."

After their conversation about their love lives, Tom and Katie later attended the pirate-themed party being held at the Winter House. Said party came with lots of games, including one called "Message in a Bottle," which required each roommate to pull a question from a bowl and answer it.
Tom, for his part, just so happened to get a "f-ck, marry, kill" prompt — and he ultimately chose to "marry" Katie. As he told her, "We bonded so much today."
Added Tom in a confessional, "I feel like I'm back in high school but in the best possible way. [I'm] not like chasing my youth or anything like that [and] I don't want to get too used to this but, you know, I'm microdosing this right now."
