The OC may be abuzz with the news of Tamra Judge's departure from The Real Housewives of Orange County, but this may not be a goodbye forever, according to Andy Cohen.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Andy, who is an executive producer of The Real Housewives, spoke about Tamra's bombshell announcement during a recent interview with ET. "She's been such an incredible part of the show for 12 years, that my only thing that I'll say about her is, you have not seen the last of Tamra on the Housewives of Orange County," Andy said. "Tamra, we love you. We're not totally done."

Tamra surprised fans when she announced that she will not be returning to RHOC on Instagram on January 25. "It’s been a wild 12 years. But it’s time for me to move on," Tamra captioned a photo with husband Eddie Judge. "I'm sad to go but very excited about my future. Love you guys."

Andy previously expressed his hope that Tamra will be back on our screens in some form in the future during his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live at the end of January. “She has been an incredible Housewife, she really has. She’s been dramatic, she’s vulnerable… she has been great," he said. “I’m hoping, and this is not lip service, that she will come back in some form, either this season or in the next couple. Because I just think she is someone that I am always interested in, I always want to check in with her on."

Andy also did an Instagram Live chat with Tamra about her RHOC exit last week. "It was a dramatic weekend in Orange County," Andy said of the back-to-back news of Tamra and Vicki Gunvalson's departures from the show. "I did a kinda surprising post-exit interview with Tamra on my Instagram Live the other night, which was really meta and crazy. And I have to say, Tamra, she's so real and she always keeps it real."

During that conversation, Tamra opened up about why it might be best for her to live her life off-camera for a while due to some professional commitments, as well as personal issues. "I'm not going to go into detail right now, but I'm going through some difficult times right now and it was best for me to deal with it on my own," she said. "I just need a little bit of privacy in my life right now."
