Andy Cohen Addresses Tamra Judge's RHOC Departure
The WWHL host opened up about Tamra's "entertaining, surprising, and dramatic" time on Real Housewives.
Following the news that Tamra Judge won't return as a Housewife on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Andy Cohen is opening up about the exit — and showering the longtime OC 'Wife with love.
"An unprecedented run from a woman who was always entertaining, surprising and dramatic - and never ever aged. And now she’s the queen of CBD!" Andy tweeted about Tamra stepping away from RHOC as a Housewife.
Over the weekend, Tamra addressed the news on Instagram in a statement, writing, “It’s been a wild 12 years. But it’s time for me to move on. I’m sad to go but I’m very excited about my future.”
Tamra joined RHOC back in 2007 and has appeared on a total of 12 seasons, sharing with fans every aspect of her life, both the ups and the downs.
Andy opened up a bit more about his love for Tamra when he called into Andy Cohen Live. “She has been an incredible Housewife, she really has. She’s been dramatic, she’s vulnerable… she has been great," he said on his SiriusXM show this week following the news. “I’m hoping, and this is not lip service, that she will come back in some form, either this season or in the next couple. Because I just think she is someone that I am always interested in, I always want to check in with her on."
Vicki Gunvalson also confirmed she was exiting RHOC last week. Andy also paid homage to the OG from the OC: “Vicki is an original, who remained her authentic self from her Family Van-freakout through her last reunion. It’s so hard to remain exactly who you are after being on television for so long, but Vicki is one of a kind.”
