Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Reveals She Is "Back on Birth Control"
The RHOBH cast member welcomed daughter Dove back in February.
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave has some big news to report. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member has confirmed that she's back on birth control after welcoming her third child, daughter Dove, back in February. The confession comes after Teddi conceived Dove naturally, but previously used IVF to conceive 7-year-old daughter Slate and 6-year-old son Cruz.
Teddi told fans this week that she doesn't plan to have any more kids. “The plan is no. I didn’t think I could get pregnant naturally, so [my daughter] Dove was a miracle baby. So now, to prevent the miracle baby, I am back on birth control," she shared on Instagram Stories on Thursday (September 3), via Us Weekly.
When Teddi confirmed her pregnancy last September, she told Us Weekly that her pregnancy "was a complete surprise" given her prior IVF experience.
Since welcoming Dove in February, the baby has undergone neurosurgery after she was diagnosed with Lambdoid Craniosynostosis. She is currently on recovering, and as Teddi recently shared, "Her incision is healing amazingly, and now, she is going in to be fitted for a helmet.”
She added, “Of course, I asked how long she needs to be in the helmet, and they said probably around 6 months. After that, she will just go in once a year and get CT scans to make sure she will not need any additional surgeries.”
