This Is Why Malia White Wasn't at the Winter House Season 3 Reunion
Find out what the Below Deck Mediterranean alum was up to during the Winter House Season 3 reunion.
Winter should be fun, and indeed it was — sort of.
On Season 3 of Winter House, the Steamboat Springs crew experienced their fair share of drama, including a love triangle, a pregnancy scare, and an “embarrassing” bathroom hookup.
Now that the winter festivities have wrapped, the housemates recently came together on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen for one final showdown to relive everything that happened; However, one notable person was missing in action: Malia White.
Why wasn't Malia White at the Winter House Season 3 reunion?
On the Winter House Season 3 reunion, which aired on December 19, host Andy Cohen pointed out that Malia wasn’t physically present with the group but would be in attendance for their discussion virtually.
“Our final housemate is joining us remotely,” he said, adding, “Where in the world is Malia?”
Malia told Andy, “Sorry I couldn’t be there, but I am picking up our chase boat in Martinique.”
The Malia White, Kory Keefer, and Samantha Feher drama at the Winter House Season 3 reunion
Malia may have appeared virtually for the reunion, but that didn’t stop her from weighing in on the drama with Kory Keefer and his girlfriend Samantha “Sam” Feher. As fans may recall, Sam had taken offense to Kory and Malia’s relationship on Winter House, and those feelings finally came to a head.
Later in the episode, Sam made a cameo in the clubhouse, where Andy asked her if there was anything that “annoyed” while Kory was in the house.
“Quite a bit jumped out as annoying,” Sam admitted. She continued to share how she was hurt by Malia calling her friendship with Kory “platonic” but would still flirt with him.
When it was time for Malia to give her remarks, she reassured Sam that she wasn’t into her housemate. “Kory is not my type,” Malia clarified.
While Malia had no intentions of pursuing a romance with Kory, Sam admitted that it was “disrespectful” of them to tackle each other in the snow when they went moon-biking.
Taking some heat off Malia and Sam, Kory intervened to take ownership for not clarifying his relationship status. “I was trying to have a girl that wasn’t official and flirt with all the girls," he said.
Ultimately, they were able to squash their issues with each other. “I’m sorry for my part in it, Sam. I wish I would’ve gotten to know you outside of Kory,” Malia told Sam, to which she responded, “Me too, that would’ve been fun.”
