Is Malia White Still Working in Yachting? See Her Candid Response on Her Career Today
The Below Deck Mediterranean alum has finally opened up about the current status of her career and where she's currently living.
Malia White might be a Below Deck Mediterranean alum, but she has not left the world of yachting behind. Although the 34-year-old's Instagram account is filled with scenes from her beautiful travels with her boyfriend (more on that later), she does find other ways to see the world as she has a job in the world of yachting, which she recently opened up about on Instagram.
Malia took to her Instagram Story recently, where she held a question-and-answer session for her followers. And one of her Instagram followers had a very important question about what she's currently doing in her career: "Are you still yachting or staying in the UK for a while?"
"I'm currently yachting in the UK," she replied, alongside an anchor emoji and an emoji of the United Kingdom flag.
Malia previously served as deckhand in Below Deck Med Season 2 and a Bosun on Seasons 5 and 6. She became an Officer of the Watch in January 2023. Although it's unclear what her current position is in yachting, there is no doubt that Malia is excelling and having fun in her career as she continues to work on boats.

It's safe to say that Malia has had a big year in 2024. In addition to working in yachting in the United Kingdom, she has been very busy, especially in this past year alone. Malia recounted all of it in a post to her Instagram account on July 20, in honor of her turning 34 years old — reflecting on her relationships and work accomplishments on her birthday.
"I felt loss but found love, witnessed old friends become new parents, visited new countries, crossed the Atlantic Ocean (again), made it home to be with family, celebrated friends getting married, danced the night away with friends who became family, wrapped a TV show, had new career ventures, had a lot of highs but some really low lows — but most importantly I learned a lot about what matters most," she wrote in the caption of the post.

Since turning 34, Malia has been busy with her travels, going everywhere from Greece to Italy to Portugal and having the most perfect "European summer." Throughout it all, she's been hanging out on boats, eating delicious-looking food, and spending plenty of time with her adorable (but private and unnamed) boyfriend. Malia has definitely been enjoying "life lately." She took to her Instagram account in early October, where she posted a series of photos from her life, which includes traveling with her boyfriend and hanging out on boats.
Malia's BFF, Below Deck Med's Katie Flood, took to the comments of the post where she expressed her longing for her long-time friend. "Miss you," she commented alongside a broken heart emoji.
