Kory Opens Up About His Connection with Malia & Reveals Where His Relationship with Sam Stands Today
The Winter House-mate admitted that he "let the boundary get crossed" with the Below Deck Mediterranean alum.
Now that Winter House Season 3 is officially winding down, Kory Keefer is reflecting on his time in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
When Kory entered the ski chalet alongside castmates Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Danielle Olivera, Katie Flood, Alex Propson, Malia White, Tom Schwartz, Jordan Emanuel, Brian Benni, and Casey Craig, he was in a complicated "situationship" with Summer House's Samantha "Sam" Feher.
The pair ultimately decided to define their relationship, but not before Kory got called out over his flirtatious friendship with Malia.
After Season 3, Episode 8 aired on Dec. 12, Kory appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and he cleared the air once and for all about whether he shared any chemistry with Malia. He also revealed a major update on his relationship with Sam today.
Kory Keefer Weighs in on His Connection with Malia White
Though Kory and Malia seemed to share a flirty relationship with one another during Winter House Season 3, the gym owner insisted that nothing was ever going on between the two in Steamboat Springs.
"We definitely had a very brother-sister relationship, but there [were] times where, if I had allowed that boundary to be crossed, it would have," Kory said on WWHL about how he didn't have feelings for Malia, though he did think she may have felt something for him. "I think so."
However, he added he recognizes that he "let the boundary get crossed a little bit too much."
"I was a dumb boy, and I still am," he continued.
As Sam and Kory have been watching Season 3 back, he's seen how "it looked really bad on [his] part."
"Seeing it, especially in front of Sam's face, I totally understand her reaction and I think that was valid," he said about what Sam said to Malia after the group roast on the penultimate episode of the season.

Though Sam and Kory went through some growing pains in their relationship while Season 3 was airing, the two are still dating.
Kory also explained why Sam wasn't in the WWHL audience during his December 12 appearance.
"She was at my gym's grand opening the past two days, and then she and her family had a Christmas thing in Florida, so she was with her mom in Florida," Kory said.
As Kory initially said at BravoCon 2023 back in November, he wishes he had defined his relationship with the entrepreneur sooner.
"Hindsight is 20/20, and, of course, if I could go back, I would 100 percent," he said about how he would have made things official with her before the trip began. "I would have defined it immediately going in there, so."
He clarified that he didn't define the relationship ahead of time because he doesn't like talking about his emotions, not because he wanted to hook up with anyone in the house.
"It was just me being a dumb guy, trying to push having that conversation as much as possible," he said. "Just because I don't like talking about my feelings a lot. You know, it blew up in my face."
Kory Keefer Shares a Major Update on His Long-Distance Relationship
Kory and Sam are going strong in their romance, but the two are still dating long-distance. Sam is based in New York City, while Kory owns several gyms in North Carolina. However, he does have some plans to change that.
"I want to open a gym in New York, so I don't see Sam leaving New York anytime soon, so maybe New York is next," he told host Andy Cohen about wanting to move closer to Sam.
The Winter House Season 3 finale airs on December 19.
