Whitney Sudler-Smith Would Like to Clear Up Some Misconceptions About the Southern Charm Crew
The Southern Charm gent wants to set the record straight on himself and his friends.
After five seasons of Southern Charm, you would think we'd know just about everything about our favorite Charlestonians. However, there are still some things that fans get wrong about the Southern Charm crew, according to Whitney Sudler-Smith.
Whitney cleared up some of the biggest misconceptions he thinks fans still have about him and his friends during a recent interview with UrbanDaddy. "People think we’re a lot more degenerate than we really are—people think I live with my mother [Patricia Altschul] and don’t work, which is the complete opposite," he explained. "Shep [Rose] is not the kind of ne’er-do-well people think [he is] in some regards"
Speaking of Shep, Whitney also offered some insight into his buddy's love life and what he thinks it will take for him to settle down after he looked for love on RelationShep. "[Sighs] God. It’d be hard to tame the beast. She’d have to be an extraordinary [woman] of incredible talents which...it’s more unicorn than not," he said. "We’re hoping she or it will magically appear at some point."
One person who has had some luck in the romance department this season of Southern Charm is Whitney's mother Patricia. She revealed in the Season 5 premiere that her "gentleman caller," who has been identified as only Mr. C, has given her a gorgeous and ginormous promise ring. "Everything is going great with Mr. C. He gave me this promise ring. Could it be bigger?" Patricia joked about the bling during the episode. "Nobody in the group apparently is marriage material but me."
