Which Housewife Helped Lady Gaga Prep for Her Award-Winning Role in American Horror Story?
The Golden Globe winner turned to one very fabulous woman when it came time to practice her lines.
Lady Gaga's American Horror Story: Hotel character may have been named The Countess, but it wasn't Luann De Lesseps who helped the singer/actress hone her character to Golden Globes-winning proportions. Instead, Gaga called upon her pal, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Lisa Vanderpump, to help her prep for the role in the series, which wrapped up its fifth season on January 13.
"I spent time with her when she was doing American Horror Story. No [she didn't ask for any advice], but I did help her run a couple of lines," Lisa told The Daily Dish. "She was good. Well, she's got the Golden Globe; she doesn't need to prove it anymore, does she?" Lisa called Gaga's win for Best Supporting Actress Performance in a Series, Miniseries or Television "fantastic." And there could be more from Gaga on Season 6 of AHS as show creator Ryan Murphy has put out the ask to have her return.
While we anxiously await confirmation on next season's cast, we turned to Lisa for details on Gaga's upcoming wedding to Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney. "No, and even if I had [any] I wouldn't say," she teased. Though she was more willing to talk about hanging out with Taylor earlier this month at the Daily Mail's People's Choice Awards after party. "I don't know Taylor at all because all the time I spent with Gaga, wasn't [with him]. So, literally, we met [the other night] and it was like, 'Oh, hi.' But he's certainly very handsome and she's a wonderful woman."
