We Have Some Big News About What's Next for Noelle Robinson

In 2019, Noelle Robinson first revealed to The Daily Dish her plans to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. After attending Howard University for a period, she decided to step away from the traditional college experience, to follow her dreams. She's currently living in Los Angeles and hustling to make that happen.

"So pre-pandemic I was actually going on a lot of acting auditions. I’ve been taking a lot of acting classes. I’ve been taking regular online academic classes," Noelle recently told The Daily Dish in a phone interview this month. "I definitely want to get into just more acting and following in my dad’s footsteps in that regard."

Noelle does come from a showbiz family. Her mom is model and The Real Housewives of Atlanta's very own Cynthia Bailey, and her dad is actor Leon Robinson. And now she's also hoping to make her mark on the industry.

"I’ve been creating content for my YouTube as well as my Instagram. And I feel super lucky to be able to support myself financially at this point through these different passions. But I’m definitely taking this time to put all my energy into these things and just see what success it brings me. Just figuring out, 'OK, I’d definitely really like to do this. And oh, OK, let me see how successful I can be at this.' I’ve been also doing self-tape auditions as well."

For Noelle, that also means making sure she's the best performer she can be. "I’m just focusing on building my [brand], working on my craft. So when I do get those opportunities, then hopefully I’ll make it," she said, adding that her online presence and brand is also an important part of the formula. "And also just building my social media presence some more because that is definitely something that I’m interested in doing and I have a passion for."

Noelle also noted that her girlfriend, Alexis Powell, has been offering her support as well. "Behind the scenes, I do some influencing on my Instagram, she takes all my pictures. She helps me with my YouTube. She’s actually motivated me to start a YouTube. She just really motivates me and is making sure that I’m always on top of everything that I need to be doing," Noelle explained. "And that’s just something I’ve never had before. This is the first time I’ve had a situation where I also have a friendship with the person."
