RHOC newbie Katie Ginella has a connection to RHOA icon Cynthia Bailey.
The friendship between The Real Housewives of Orange County's Katie Ginella and The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Cynthia Bailey may or may not be accidentally causing some problems on RHOC Season 18.
During Episode 4 — which aired August 1 — Katie divulged some interesting info she got from Cynthia while discussing Heather Dubrow with Gina Kirschenheiter.
"I have a friend, Cynthia. I just saw her the other day for lunch. Heather's new to the social circle she's in," Katie began. "Cynthia posted a picture with Heather. She went to a birthday party that Heather was invited to. I saw her the other day, and she was like 'I went to this thing and the first person to beeline to me was Heather. And she said, 'Hi, I'm Heather, nice to meet you. How do you know Katie Ginella?' [She] wanted to know everything about me. That was the only question she asked for and the only thing she wanted.'"
As for why the question was asked, Gina had a hypothesis.
"You think she feels protective of her LA group?" she asked. (ICYMI, the Dubrow's are in the process of moving to Los Angeles and Heather has been hanging out with a group of women there.)
What's the drama with Katie Ginella and Heather Dubrow?
Though she's fresh to the RHOC scene, Katie and Heather already have a little drama brewing. It all started when Heather forgot she'd already met Katie, and snowballed in Season 18, Episode 4 when Katie alleged that her paparazzi friend said the actress called photographers in for a posed photo op.
Heather, however, has denied the rumors. In fact, she even encouraged Katie to share the so-called "proof" she had during their intense conversation on Episode 4.
