Wendy Williams Defends Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker's Hands-Free Bottle Feeding
"I'm not judging," the talk show host said of the #RHOA parents' technique.
Everyone could use a helping hand while raising a baby, even Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker. The Real Housewives of Atlanta couple recently showed off a new pillow that holds their four-month-old son's bottle in place without mom or dad having to do so, and let's just say the video got mixed reviews from commenters.
Wendy Williams, who isn't always on the best of terms with certain RHOA cast members, came to Kandi's defense during a recent episode of The Wendy Williams Show. "You do get tired when you feed a baby," the talk show host said of her own experiences bottle feeding her now-teenaged son in response to Kandi and Todd's clip. "I remember having pillows stacked up so I don't have to hold my arm like that because I'm not that strong. And also, a pillow over here that was stacked up. Sometimes, I'd be so comfortable, tired, being a mom — don't call DYFS [Division of Youth and Family Service] — but I would fall asleep."
Wendy even lent her own helping hand to Kandi and Todd in the form of a blinged-out hands-free baby bottle gift for the parents to use when they feed their newborn Ace Wells Tucker. "Happy baby to you all," she said. "I'm not judging."
Kandi appreciates the gesture. "Thanks @wendyshow for sticking up for us! & we're gonna use that gift!" she wrote on Instagram.
In fact, maybe Ace doesn't even need his parents' help at all when it comes to getting fed.
They grow up so fast, don't they?
