Riley Burruss’ Monday is Complete with a Matcha, Colorful Manicure & One Huge Ring (PHOTO)
Kandi Burruss' daughter is living her best life in New York City since graduating college earlier this summer.
Riley Burruss is living the life in New York City without her mom Kandi Burruss. The Real Housewives of Atlanta daughter has been continuing to live in Manhattan since graduating from NYU with a degree in Music Business in May, and she seems to be having so much fun.
Riley took to her Instagram Story on Monday, Aug. 19, to show off her latest city find — an iced matcha latte. In the photo, one of Riley's manicured hands can be seen clutching her cup of matcha, while the other hand, adorned with a stunning gold band and matching huge ring, held a little chic, black bag.
"Matcha Mondays..." Riley wrote over the photo.
Inside Riley Burruss' Life in New York City
It's been a very exciting summer for Kandi's oldest daughter, who kicked it off by graduating from NYU. Riley took to her Instagram account on May 13, where she posted a photo in her graduation regalia and wrote the sweetest tribute to her mom, who inspired her to study music at school.
"Always being around my mom and her music is what inspired me to pursue a degree in music, so having the opportunity to study music business has been an amazing journey!" she wrote in the caption of the post. "I have truly fallen in love with my studies these past four years. As a first-generation college student, I am so proud of myself for reaching the finish line and staying on track to finish this degree."
In the three months since then, Riley had a graduation party, has visited museums, and spent her Fourth of July with new Manhattan resident and fellow RHOA kid, Ariana Biermann. The two looked like they had so much fun together.
As it turns out, Riley is no stranger to sharing the food and drinks she tries around the city with her Instagram followers. She has a second Instagram account, Eating with Rilez, where she has posted all of her favorite meals she has tried, including the "best pancakes in the city" and food she has eaten while on vacation. She should be adding that stunning, bright green matcha to the feed, because "matcha Mondays" should definitely become a reoccurring thing.
What Riley Burruss has been up to since graduating college
Over on Riley's TikTok account, she revealed that she took a break from Manhattan in June to go on a retreat in Massachusetts for a "reset."
"After college I've really been thinking about how I want the future of my life to look like, and how to move forward and what path," she said in the video. "So I thought it would be great to learn from some elders and experts in their field."
Although it's unclear what path Riley decided to move forward with, this retreat seemed to really help her. "Living in NYC can be overwhelming at times, so this was needed," she wrote in the caption of the video.
