What Is the Current Status of Vicki Gunvalson and Son-in-Law Ryan Culberson's Relationship?
The RHOC son-in-law, who is married to Vicki's daughter, Briana Culberson, has an update.
Vicki Gunvalson and her son-in-law, Ryan Culberson, haven't always had the easiest relationship. When Vicki's daughter, Briana Culberson, and Ryan told Vicki that they had gotten married at a drive-up window in Las Vegas, let's just say that The Real Housewives of Orange County OG wasn't thrilled. (Briana and Ryan later had a wedding in May 2012 in which Vicki and her ex-husband Donn Gunvalson walked a 4-months-pregnant Briana down the aisle.) Since that moment, the two have gone on to have two kids, Troy and Owen, and move to North Carolina. Given the distance and their history, we had wondered what Vicki and Ryan's current relationship was like.
It appears we weren't the only ones. Ryan shared an Instagram post in which a follower asked him, "Do you and Vicki have a good relationship?" Ryan responded, "As good as [an] alpha female and male can I believe[.] We're both hard headed but I think we've figured out how to have as good of [a] relationship as we can."
In fact, their current relationship seems to be strong enough that Ryan even accompanied Vicki on a recent trip to NYC, acting as her "bodyguard." And Vicki also visited the Culbersons in N.C., even taking a shotski with the adult members of the Culberson fam. So all appears to be going well!
