Josh Altman Sets Tracy Tutor Up on a Disastrous Date: "Is This Where He Thinks I Belong?"
Tracy Tutor wasn't pleased after being set up with her fellow MDLLA agent's longtime friend.
When it comes to keeping it real about her dating life, Tracy Tutor isn't holding back. During Season 15, Episode 9 of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, which aired Wednesday, September 4, Josh Altman set Tracy up on a date that didn't exactly go as planned. On one hand, she knew the person she'd been set up with. And on the other? She wasn't pleased with his personality.
During their double date, Tracy was initially "open" to getting to know Josh's friend, Los Angeles plastic surgeon Dr. Ben, with whom she has some mutual friends. However, as they got deeper into conversation, Tracy was put off by Ben's forward comments — and she was quick to call him out.
"Are you always this confident when you're on a date, or should I say cocky?" she asked. "Is this actually how you would talk?"
After he said yes, Tracy decided to give him a "f-cking tip," causing Josh to spit out his drink.
"When you go on your next date, don't lead with [talking about dating] twins. No, bro. It's common sense. You are either going to be alone or you're going to land with shallow bitches until you're 50, and then you're still going to be alone," she said.
"What was Altman thinking?" she added in a confessional. "Like, is this where he thinks I belong?"
The whole situation got started when Tracy told Josh that she might show up single to his Orange County office opening.
"You don't think I'd be able to find you a very wealthy, very nice man?" Josh joked.
"But, you, know I'm a lot. So he's gotta be able to deal with that," responded Tracy. "I can't be anyone's trophy wife."
Inspired by the conversation, Josh asked permission to set Tracy up on a blind double date with a mystery man. He and his wife Heather Altman would also be in attendance.
Later, she chatted with her daughter, Scarlett, as she got ready. "I don't even know if I want to go," she said. When her daughter found out it was Josh behind the setup, she advised her not to go at all. "You don't even know what you're getting into," she said.

At the restaurant, Tracy and the Altmans arrived before Dr. Ben.
"I'm prepared to walk into this date with an open mind, but I will tell you: if it goes poorly I will get up and walk out," added Tracy in a confessional. "Dr. Ben is a very reputable plastic surgeon in LA. As a matter of fact, I've had a lot of friends who have seen him — not in a romantic way. He has a bit of a reputation for being a party boy, but I'm open. It could be interesting."
Before he made an appearance, the group set up a code phrase — "let's order dessert" — in case things were going poorly.
Tracy also asked for some more insight into her beau of the night. According to Josh, the men had become close after traveling around to look at cars together. And Tracy was comfortable enough she decided to share the code word with Dr. Ben.
"You don't need a code name for me. I've never failed. Mothers always love me," he said, to which Tracy said he's very charming and Heather joked it's obvious why they love him: he gives face lifts.
"Twins always like me," he added.
"Twins?" Tracy asked. "That's a little creepy, Ben. That's a little weird."
When the women snuck away for a bathroom break, they were able to talk openly about the situation at hand.
"He's a lot. He's really a playboy," Tracy said. "Like on a massive level."
In a confessional, she added more: "Ben is like an amalgam of all the men in the dating pool in this city. I mean, one might say that the dating market is a little bit saturated with douchebags, but every market needs correction."
Why did Tracy Tutor and Erik Anderson break up?
As Tracy explained on Season 15, Episode 4 of MDLLA, "Erik and I decided to break up and he moved out of the house."
"I'm just trying to face it one day at a time," she added, divulging that she found out Erik had been messaging a woman online in a way she wasn't comfortable with.
