Tom Colicchio Is Confused By This Chef's Approach to the Blind Taste Test in Last Chance Kitchen

Along with Restaurant Wars and the mise en place race, the blind taste test rounds out the trifecta of iconic Bravo's Top Chef challenges. This season, the blind taste test comes to Last Chance Kitchen, and it definitely serves up some surprises, as you can see in the episode, above.

With 20 spices and herbs before them, the eliminated cheftestants have five minutes to correctly identify as many ingredients as possible. And it's never been more important to ace a test, as you'll see in the above clip.

The chefs take two very different approaches to the blind taste test, which Last Chance Kitchen host Tom Colicchio notably points out while revealing their results. In fact, one contestant continues to make some choices during the challenge that's just downright confusing to Tom. "I don't get it," he says as the chefs scramble in the kitchen.
