Tom Schwartz Reveals the Surprising Number of Plants He Owns at Home: "Everyone is Healthy"
The Vanderpump Rules cast member shared an adorable update on his “growing” plant family.
Tom Schwartz has officially embraced his plant dad era.
As you can from his house tour video above, Tom’s obsession with plants is growing stronger by the day. In fact, on the Season 11 premiere of Vanderpump Rules, Tom opened up about his newfound love of filling his home with greenery and even gifting it. "Being a new homeowner, you're going to become obsessed with plants," Tom told James Kennedy, while giving him a housewarming gift. "I got you a little Monstera."
On the Vanderpump Rules After Show, Tom explained that having several plants in his home allowed him to settle in easier. "Having the plants in there, somehow, made it more like a home,” he shared. During an exclusive interview with BravoTV.com, Tom disclosed the number of plants he owns and provided an update on their well-being under his care.

How many plants does Tom Schwartz own?
“I think I have 26 plants now and growing – I’m proud of those,” Tom told BravoTV.com while getting ready backstage at the VPR Season 11 reunion. “Everyone is healthy [and] happy.”
Tom continued to excitedly highlight two of the vegetation that he recently added to his abundant plant collection. “I just got a new addition to the family, and I forget the scientific name… but the informal name is a Boobie Cactus,” he said.
As for Tom’s other member of his plant dome, he noted that it was just a “shrub,” adding that it’s “really cool.”

Tom Schwartz shares how the plants are doing at Schwartz and Sandy’s
Although Tom’s home plants are thriving, the same can’t be said about the greenery at his bar, Schwartz and Sandy’s, which he co-owns with Tom Sandoval.
“The plants at Schwartz and Sandy’s haven’t been doing so great. I got to be honest,” he admitted in defeat. “People forget to put them in the sunlight and water them.”
While those plants aren’t getting the best attention from Tom’s staff, he took full ownership of the situation, saying, “I got them there, so I’m kind of responsible for the life.”
He concluded about the defunct plants: “I’m having some guilt pains – they aren’t doing so good.”
