Tom Schwartz Is Building His "Dream" House in Florida: "Finally"
The Vanderpump Rules cast member shares details on his in-progress home and gives an update on his plans to move in with Tom Sandoval.
Real estate has been a big focus for Tom Schwartz lately. After moving into an apartment in 2022, he has more recently expressed dreams of buying a cabin in Minnesota and also toyed with the idea of moving in with Tom Sandoval during Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules. On May 16, Schwartz shared another exciting new home update.
On an episode of the Balancing Act with Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick podcast, Schwartz shared, "This is... [a] dream that I think is finally coming to fruition. I have property in Florida I'm finally gonna build a house for my family there. I have this little pond. I'm super stoked about that."
While he builds the home, Schwartz explained that to "cut costs a little bit," he is "thinking about downsizing" in California. At the moment, he is considering living in a "really cool" loft.

Is Tom Schwartz moving in with Tom Sandoval?
As previously mentioned, Schwartz was considering the idea of moving in with Sandoval (and paying him $6,000 in monthly rent).
"The optics of me moving in with Sandoval are not good for my personal growth and everything," he admitted on The Valley couple's podcast. Still, he noted, instead of paying rent to a landlord, "I'd rather give [Sandoval] some of my money, have a little backyard, a pool, and chill out there while I build my house in Florida."
If the two decide to move in together, Schwartz explained, "It for sure wouldn't be anything long-term...I'm thinking it would be fun one last time before we get too old, we get hitched, have kids, you know, maybe it'd be fun to live together."
Tom Schwartz wants to own a home in Minnesota
Schwartz also has big dreams of buying property in his home state.
In a recent interview with Mpls.St.Paul Magazine, Tom was asked if he owns a cabin in Minnesota, and while the answer is currently "no," he is hoping that will change in the future.
"That’s the dream," he shared. "We’re talking about long-term. I don’t know if I want to live there, but hopefully, I’m successful enough to have a cool lake cabin in Minnesota."
