Tom and Padma Keep It in the Family

Consider it the Muppet Babies version of Judges' Table. It won't be long before Top Chef judge Tom Colicchio's new arrival, son Mateo Lev, is hanging out with host Padma Lakshmi's baby daughter Krishna.

Padma tells People magazine that as soon as Tom, wife Lori Silverbush give the ok, playdates await. "They're nesting right now, as I'm sure you can imagine," Padma tells People. "But once they're out of that stage, yes. Tom's older son Luka and Krishna know each other really well."

For now, Padma has been enjoying life in the Big Apple with her baby girl. "She's growing every day and always learning and seeing and discovering new things," she said. "So it's wonderful to see the world through her eyes."

And naturally they're working on developing Krishna's palate, described as a "lacto-vegetarian diet." "She can't eat the spicy food that I love since it would be too hard on her system," she explains. "But other than that she'll eat the foods that I make for her."
