Although Lori’s career has her working behind the camera, she occasionally steps into the spotlight to attend events alongside her husband. In honor of Lori’s 55th birthday this year, Tom posted a heartfelt tribute to her on his Instagram by sharing a black-and-white photo of them dressed to impress as they smiled.
“Happy Birthday to my Valentine,” Tom captioned his February 14 post. “I wouldn’t want to go through life with anyone else. Love you to the moon and back.”

What does Lori Silverbush do for a living?
Lori is a filmmaker and is best known for her critically acclaimed films Mental Hygiene, On the Outs, and A Place at the Table.
She’s also an activist and founder of A Place at the Table, an organization created to help end world hunger. “In 2013, the acclaimed documentary A Place at the Table explored how we got here, and what it would take to solve the root causes of hunger in America," reads the organization’s website bio. “We believe in the power of the public’s voice for change. Today, we continue to advance communications that help the public understand the causes and solvability of hunger in America. Our goal is to harness the same public will that worked then and catalyze a rebuilding of a policy framework that ensures nutrition for all today.”
How did Tom Colicchio and Lori Silverbush meet?
The stars were aligned perfectly for the duo, as they met back in 1994, when Lori worked as a waitress at Tom’s restaurant Gramercy Tavern, according to The New York Times. On September 15, 2001, Tom and Lori officially tied the knot with a Martha’s Vineyard-based wedding.
Tom and Lori remain happily married for the last 22 years.
Does Tom Colicchio and Lori Silverbush have kids?
Yes! Tom and Lori share two children: sons Luka and Mateo. Tom also has an older son, Dante, from a previous relationship.
In May 2023, Tom took to social media to show some love to Lori and their two sons as she uploaded an adorable photo of the trio stacked on top of each other while in bed.
