Danielle Staub Opens Up About Her Recent Conversations with Joe Giudice
Has she seen a change in The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband?
Now that Danielle Staub has rekindled her friendship with Teresa Giudice, she has also reconnected with her friend's whole family, including Teresa's husband Joe Giudice, even as he continues to serve out his prison sentence, which he began in March 2016.
Danielle gave an update on how Teresa and Joe are doing today, now more than halfway through his prison sentence, in an interview with Us Weekly Wednesday. “She’s doing fantastic actually. She’s a happy girl. She’s got a really good grip on everything that’s going on in her life,” Danielle shared. “Her and her husband [Joe Giudice] speak every day. He’s amazing. I speak to him on the phone, when I’m with her, and he has clarity and he’s done some nice soul searching and changes as well. I’m happy for them.”
Danielle also said that she's seen a change in Joe during his time away. “I just think he’s seeing things from a different perspective and he also appreciates his wife,” she said. “Not to suggest anything different, but look what’s going on. Look how she’s handling it. That’s a lot.”
Danielle previously defended Teresa in an interview with TooFab when Kim D. brought up rumors that she had been "rekindling old flames." "It is absolutely 100 percent not true, and it is unacceptable to even suggest it," she said of the gossip. "People need to stay out of her marriage. Her marriage is just fine. I've been there when she's been on the phone with Joe, and I've had the privilege of being a part of the conversation and speaking with Joe. You can see that they are madly in love with each other."
RHONJ fans witnessed Teresa and Danielle reconnect and rebuild their friendship in Season 8. Teresa even apologized to Danielle and her youngest daughter Jillian for her "prostitution whore" comments when she flipped the table in Season 1. Teresa is now getting ready to serve as Danielle's matron of honor when she weds fiancé Marty Caffrey.
