Alexia Shares Surprising Response When Asked If She's *Dating* Amid Todd Split: "I'm Still..."
RHOM cast member Alexia Nepola shared a surprising take on her current relationship status with her estranged husband, Todd Nepola.
Alexia Nepola just revealed her current relationship status as she navigates her split from Todd Nepola. And while their split has made headlines (like when they were reportedly spotted on vacation together in September), she cleared up her current situation. The Real Housewives of Miami cast member shared an update on her marital split during the Battle of the Bravolebs panel (November 23) at Bravo Fan Fest in Miami.
"I am not dating anyone," she told a fan. "I'm still married. I'm wearing my ring."
Alexia and Todd started dating in 2017, got engaged about two years later, and tied the knot in late 2021.
RHOM Season 6 documented the couple’s second year of marriage, which included some mild drama between Todd and Dr. Nicole Martin’s fiancé, Anthony Lopez. Todd and Alexia’s living situation was also uncertain as the apartment they were renting had been sold by the owner. The couple eventually found a new family home, but just months after moving in, Todd filed for divorce.
Alexia says she was "shocked" by Todd's divorce filing
Alexia addressed the decision in an April 15 Instagram post, claiming she was caught off guard by Todd’s filing, as she assumed they were on good terms.
“I am shocked and heartbroken that Todd has chosen to dissolve our marriage,” Alexia wrote in a Story. “I will take comfort in the fact that my friends and family will be by my side supporting me during this difficult time. I’m praying for better times ahead.”
Alexia reveals she and Todd hooked up after their split
Uncertainty continued to loom over the marriage, as Alexia suggested she and Todd were trying to make things work. During a June 15 episode of Two Ts in a Pod — hosted by The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Tamra Judge — Alexia confirmed she and her estranged husband had gone to couples therapy and had been intimate since their split.
“We’ve done it all. We love each other,” she said. “We’re super into each other. It’s not because of that… For me, [the marriage] was working. I just thought that there were typical fights and problems that every couple has. But it’s not how much you fight or how hard you fight, it’s being able to work through those fights and find resolution. And I think that that’s where we have our biggest challenge.”
Moderated by Darren Carp, the Battle of the Bravolebs panel featured RHOM’s Lisa Hochstein, Marysol Patton, and Larsa Pippen; Summer House’s Ciara Miller and Jesse Solomon; Southern Charm’s Madison Lecroy; and Below Deck Mediterranean's Captain Sandy Yawn.
