Shep Rose Drops a Bombshell on His Season 10 Romance: "In the Heat of Passion..."

Shep Rose is shedding new light on his Southern Charm Season 10 romance with former Miss Bahamas winner Sienna Evans.
The teaser came after Shep was asked why he's still single during a dating-themed panel at Bravo Fan Fest on Nov. 23. "I don't know if I want to reveal because of Season 10, but I was right there and I got pretty cut down, let's just say," he admitted. "And it's all out there for everyone to see, so."
Elaborating even further, Shep explained that his romance with Sienna was "long distance," and by the second weekend they were together, he had already said "I love you" to her.
"But it was in the heat of passion," he clarified. "Does that still count?"
Suffice to say, Shep was taken aback by the development in his love life — especially since he was still reeling from his breakup with Taylor Ann Green.
"Obviously Taylor and I's relationship ended, and I was convinced that I wouldn't meet anyone that I felt strongly about for a while. I don't know why I thought that, I was just like, it's hard to find — and it is hard to find — but sometimes it can happen right on top of each other after a relationship," Shep shared. "And I thought that that was this, and I was super optimistic. And we were saying very, very nice things to each other."
"So, it was interesting," he concluded of the romance. "Long distance is tough, though."
Is Shep Rose single today?
Though his romance with Sienna will play out on Season 10 of Southern Charm, Shep spoke at Bravo Fan Fest as though he's currently single. More specifically, he shared that he's on the dating app Raya, and that he recently made the decision to raise the minimum age of his ideal girlfriend: "28 and above."
Prior to this, Shep's minimum age was 26. "It's incremental!" he said at Bravo Fan Fest. "Change is incremental."
Are Shep Rose and Taylor Ann Green on good terms?
According to Shep, he and Taylor do not speak, even as friends. "She doesn't want to contact me, I don't know why. I mean, she's in a relationship and I think that there's a problem there with her and I being friends — I understand, I respect that," Shep said at Bravo Fan Fest, referencing Taylor's current relationship with Gaston Rojas. "Me personally, I continue to root for her and if she needs anything for the rest of her life, I'm there for her. I love her family and I still communicate with her mom sometimes over text. It's very deep roots. I mean, it was the longest relationship I've ever had. I don't know, man. It's really hard because I want to text her sometimes."
Season 10 of Southern Charm kicks off Thursday, Dec. 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
