We Just Learned Something New About Teresa Giudice's Father, Nonno Giacinto
Teresa's husband, Joe Giudice, was actually the one to reveal this little-known fact.
We frequently see Teresa Giudice's father, Giacinto Gorga (known to his grandchildren as Nonno), on The Real Housewives of New Jersey. After all, he lives with Teresa and her four daughters. Despite all the screen time Nonno gets, however, we're still peeling back the layers on Teresa and Joe Gorga's dad.
Teresa's husband, Joe Giudice, from whom she is reported to be separated, shared a little-known fact about his father-in-law on his Instagram on Saturday, January 18. He posted a video of a shoemaker in Salerno, Italy, where he is staying as he awaits a decision in his ongoing deportation case, and wrote, "To get to a woman’s heart make her a great pair of [shoes]. Love this shoe and dying art making no one does this anymore !! Reminds me of my father-in-law he did this as a profession!!"
And given Joe's recent weight loss, he was interested in the handmade belts available in the shop, as all of his belts are now too big on him, he shared. So he had the shoemaker make him a custom belt and was definitely impressed. "You can't get craftsmanship like this anymore," he lamented in another video.
He also shared a funny story about Nonno from his days working with his hands; see what he had to say in the video below.
As for what Teresa made of the videos, she commented, "My dad would love to see that shop." And maybe he will, as Joe is currently renovating his father-in-law's home in preparation for the New Jersey gang's next visit.
