Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Weighs in on Denise Richards' RHOBH Departure
The RHOBH cast member also reflected on the season, including some of her favorite moments.
After two seasons as a cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Denise Richards will not be returning to the show, The Daily Dish recently confirmed. In the wake of the announcement of Denise’s departure, RHOBH cast member Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave shared her reaction to the news.
In a series of Instagram Stories posted on September 10, Teddi answered a variety of questions from her followers. In response to a question asking if she is “happy Denise has left the show,” Teddi wrote that she was “Not surprised” to hear the news.
“I don’t know when and why the decision was made,” said Teddi, adding, “I wish her the best and hope she is thriving and happy. I also hope she stops referring to herself in the third person, but I guess I have to let that part go.”
In response to another follower who asked if Teddi ever envisions herself becoming friends with Denise, the accountability coach wrote, “I never say never about anything but neither of us are banging down each other’s door to be in one another’s life.”
Teddi also shared some of her thoughts on RHOBH Season 10, noting that her favorite memory was the trip they took to New York City in the beginning of the season.
“I loved our entire NYC trip,” explained Teddi. “Walking fashion show even though I can barely walk. Telling the gals I was pregnant. Seeing Shakers, where Erika used to work. Lots of things. It was no drama but a great start for us all to connect and to know each other better.”
Finally, Teddi offered up some insight as to how sharing her life on RHOBH affects her family, explaining that it does not “cause more stress at home.”
“I am a type A pain in the ass and can be a low it all, but I am also a very good communicator with my hubby and kids. We set up schedule so we all know what is to come, like any job,” said Teddi. She also noted that for any future cast members, it’s best not to “have any skeletons in the closet.”
