Here's What Andy Cohen Has to Say About Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Leaving RHOBH
The WWHLhost had some thoughts on the announcement about her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills exit.
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave's announcement earlier this week that she would not be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has definitely left an impression on Andy Cohen.
Andy, who is an executive producer of The Real Housewives, praised the way Teddi shared the news of her exit in a video on Instagram while addressing her announcement on his SiriusXM show radio show on September 23. "Teddi Mellencamp released what I thought was one of the most no BS, I'm leaving announcements on record," he said. "I thought that was really good."
Teddi confirmed that she would be leaving RHOBH after three seasons on the show in a post on Instagram on September 22. “You heard it here last. Yes, it’s true, I am not coming back to #RHOBH," she wrote. "Thank you to @bravotv, @evolutionusa, @bravoandy and all of the amazing women for the support (and the shade) for the past three years. Back to the shadows I go."
Andy also said on his radio show that he admired the strength Teddi showed in the video, especially having dealt with 7-year-old daughter Slate's finger injury and 7-month-old daughter Dove's neurosurgery earlier this year. "Everyone has just been through it this year. There are not many people for whom this year has been a good year, but she had, I mean, she has had some major health stuff with her kids," Andy said. "I was watching that thinking, wow, she's been through it health-wise with her kids, now this."
The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host also hoped for nothing but the best for Teddi's future. "Of course, I wish her well," Andy shared.
