Paul Nassif Explains Why Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Thanked Him for Helping with Slate
The Botched doctor opens up to his connection to the RHOBH cast member after her daughter's injury.
When Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave's daughter Slate needed to see a doctor after she injured herself when she "smashed her finger in the door," Teddi called upon a familiar face to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers: Dr. Paul Nassif.
Teddi thanked Dr. Nassif for his help after the 7-year-old was hurt — and now we know why.
"I didn't even know she posted something. She's a very sweet lady and, obviously, they needed some recommendations and I was be able to help and get them to the right doctors," Dr. Nassif, who appears on Botched, which airs Mondays on E!, told The Daily Dish in an phone interview this week. "She was very sweet, by the way. Anything I can do to help, obviously especially with my connections, I'd better use them."
Teddi has been keeping fans in the loop on her Instagram Stories as Slate recovers, including her treatment for it.
And Teddi has even posted an inspiring message for her daughter: "You are brave. You are smart. You are kind. You are loving. You are funny. You are strong. You are beautiful. You are loved more than I can put into words."
Teddi is also a mom to Cruz, 5, a newborn daughter Dove, and is stepmom to Isabella, husband Edwin Arroyave's daughter from a previous relationship.
