Paige DeSorbo Says She Feels "Zero Pressure" to Move to Charleston
The Summer House cast member shared why boyfriend Craig Conover felt "blindsided" by her candid Charleston admission.
Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover live a plane ride apart from one another, and they have no plans to change that any time soon.
The longest time that the New York-based Summer House cast member and her Southern Charm-er beau have ever lived together was when they spent two weeks in Vermont for Winter House Season 2. After a few hiccups early on in the vacation, Paige and Craig enjoyed their brief time living together — but they are still big proponents of long distance dating.
The two travel back and forth between the Big Apple and Charleston to do a few days on together and a few days off spent apart. Paige told Reality Blurb that "long distance really works for [them]" because they are "able to travel back and forth to one another easily."
"Long distance is definitely not an easy thing to do, but I will say, I think Craig and I handle it very well," Paige reiterated during a chat with People. "Obviously we will argue about certain things, but I love being with my friends during the summer. I love living in New York. I love going to the Hamptons on the weekends. He's very supportive of that."
As a result, Paige isn't in a rush to change their current living situation. "I feel zero pressure to move down to Charleston right now," she added.
However, in the Summer House Season 7 trailer, when Craig pays a visit to the Hamptons, it looks like the two are at a crossroads about what the next step in their relationship will be.
In the teaser clip, Craig tells Paige that he wants her to "start coming down more" to Charleston. Paige tells her beau that she's worried he'll be "pissed off" if she says that she won't be ready to get engaged within six months. Though the couple is on the same page right now with their long-distance situation, Paige confirmed that they will "have those conversations" about the future in Season 7.
"He might be a little bit blindsided when I say that to him, but I really do love my life the way it is," she said. "And we talk about what will happen in the future."
You can find out how those conversations go by tuning in to Summer House Season 7.
