Carl Radke Is As Excited for Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula's Engagement as You Are

We are definitely still celebrating the news that Summer House lovebirds Kyle Cooke  and Amanda Batula are engaged. And it turns out that we're not the only ones totally excited about the news. Their pal, Carl Radke, is also pretty stoked — and he headed to Twitter to gush all about his friends' engagement, which comes three years after they first met and began dating.

And Carl's well wishes were definitely appreciated by the future Mr. and Mrs. Cooke, who confirmed their engagement earlier this week and as Amanda explained in the video above the whole thing is "beyond weird." "Thanks for all the love over the last 2 days!" Kyle later shared on Twitter. "[Amanda] and I really appreciate it."

Amanda, who is now rocking a 2.5-carat cushion cut ring post engagement, recently told PEOPLE that it feels "surreal" to be engaged to Kyle. “Aside from how funny and sexy he is, Kyle’s my best friend. He’s the person I go to for everything. And he forces me to be a better person in different ways by pushing me outside of my comfort zone," she gushed. "Life with him is exciting. And to think he wants to spend the rest our his life with me and I feel the same way, it’s just a real happy feeling.”

For his part, Kyle added, “Amanda’s the most authentic, genuine person I’ve ever met. I really look up to her. She’s incredibly selfless, thoughtful, generous and accommodating. She puts family and friends as the top priority, and bends over backwards for the people that are important to her. That’s what you look for in someone you want to spend the rest of your life with. She’s a hell of a partner.”
