Plus, find out how Maddi Reese is handling rumors and allegations about her boyfriend, Trevor.
On the Southern Hospitality Season 2 premiere, it was made clear that all bets are off. In fact, by the end of the episode, two cast members lost their jobs, while another castmate had an emotional breakdown after learning about a cheating allegation.
Additionally, Leva Bonaparte welcomed a new face to be a part of her nightclub team; however, she was met with some pushback by her staff after setting some new ground rules in the workplace.
Read on for a complete breakdown of all the drama, including what was said.
Meet Southern Hospitality’s New Cast Member, Oisin O’Neill
We received a first glimpse of Oisin O’Neill during the Republic Garden & Lounge staff meeting. “You’re going to be the best bottle boy in town,” Maddi Reese told Oisin, who happens to be her friend as she and Grace Lilly met him in Tulum.
“I was running a lot of events out there, secluded parties in the middle of the jungle in Mexico,” Oisin said about his previous work in a confessional.
Leva Bonaparte’s new workplace rules at Republic revealed
Sure, Leva is happy to have another team member to make things run smoothly in her Charleston nightclub; however, she no longer wants to be a “friendly boss.”
On the December 7 episode, Leva expressed that she got “loose with the rules” and is ready for her staff to follow her code of conduct.
“They need to remember they’re the host of the party, not the guest,” she clarified in an interview. “So, as of this year, we’re going back to the handbook. Here are your rules: show up on time, respect your managers, don’t drink, and if there’s insubordination, you’re fired.”
Who was fired on Southern Hospitality Season 2?
Speaking of termination, Leva decided to part ways with two of her employees for violating one of her main rules – “don’t drink.”
Although Lucía Peña lost her job off-screen, she was fired via text message from management.
Mia Alario got fired while trying to stick up for her friend, Lucia. During her conversation with Leva, Mia admitted she'd had a drink while on the clock before. And as a result, Leva responded, "You should be gone too, Mia. You’re fired.”
Maddi Reese and Trevor’s relationship update
Elsewhere in the Season 2 premiere episode, Maddi and her boyfriend, Trevor, are in a good place. She raved about their relationship in a confessional, saying, “Trevor and I are living together, we’re happy, and I’m in love,” Maddi explained. She even called Trevor her “soulmate.”
Later in the episode, things took a shocking twist when Bradley Carter told Maddi about Trevor “making out” with one of his fitness clients at a bar. Immediately seeing red, Maddi stormed off from work to confront Trevor about the cheating claims.
At their house, Maddi got emotional when asking Trevor about his wrongdoing. “I f-cking pictured getting married to you and having kids with you. I thought you f-cking changed,” she yelled.
“I didn’t cheat on you,” Trevor replied.
Her final response? “You’re lying… I don’t know how you look me in the eye,” Maddi admitted.
