We Really Want to Know What's Going on In This Photo of Whitney Sudler-Smith and Craig Conover

Southern Charm matriarch Patricia Altschul isn’t letting Whitney Sudler-Smith and Craig Conover off the hook. Previewing the September 8 episode on Instagram, she spilled the tea about their alcohol consumption at her dinner party — and even had some hilarious picture proof on hand.

Along with a photo of Whitney and Craig appearing to hold hands in a fit of laughter, Patricia wrote on September 6, “There’s no mystery as to who was [overserved] at the guys dinner on Southern Charm.” She even added champagne and martini emojis with no less than 13 glasses of red wine, which may or may not be a hint about how many beverages were consumed.

Fans already know that at least Craig was drinking red wine, thanks to a preview clip from the episode, which you can watch above. The group, which also included fellow cast members Austen Kroll and Shep Rose, might have enjoyed cocktail hour a little too much though as they waited for the kitchen staff to serve their dinner. The evidence? Craig spilled red wine on Patricia’s white sofa and rug.

Not only was the sofa white, but it also cost $45,000, as the hostess revealed to him before fetching some club soda as he attempted to clean up his mess. Meanwhile, Craig blamed the “dumb” glass he was given for his wine.

Patricia didn’t seem to be too worried about the spill though, explaining that Kathryn Dennis once stained the same sofa after getting a spray tan. Though it took an hour and a half to do so, she said they were able to remove the bronzer. Plus, the Sewing Down South owner promised he’d take care of it, which was good enough for Patricia.

Even so, Craig wasn’t exactly proud of the mishap. “This might be the worst thing that I've ever done drunk,” he admitted in a confessional. “And that's saying something.
