What Has Jenna King Been Up to Since Season 1 of Southern Charm?
The #SouthernCharm alum is rocking a different look these days.
Jenna King wasn't your average Charlestonian during the inaugural season of Southern Charm. Her signature fauxhawk, usually all-black wardrobe, and sky-high heels definitely made her stand out from the crowd in Chucktown.
So we of course missed her when Jenna didn't return to Southern Charm after Season 1. Since she brought such a unique look and perspective to the show, we're dying to know what kind of adventures the then-aspiring fashion designer and world traveler with a much-older boyfriend has gotten up to since. And it turns out, Jenna's life is as eccentric as ever.
1. She Has a New Hairstyle
Jenna may have been instantly recognizable for her short and wild 'do on Southern Charm, but since the show, she has been rocking some long, colorful braids in shades of green, red, electric blue, and basically every hue imaginable. She also went blond for a time and is now experimenting with chalk highlights. We can't wait to see what kind of coif Jenna dons next.
2. She Lives in Los Angeles...
After Southern Charm, Jenna packed up her bags and headed west to L.A. And if her vivid Insta pics are any indication, she is having a blast in the City of Angels.
3. ...But She Comes Back to Visit South Carolina
She may be a California girl now, but Jenna has been back to her hometown of Sumter, South Carolina this year. She has even been back to Charleston — in spirit, anyway — reuniting with onetime Southern Charm castmates Shep Rose and Whitney Sudler-Smith. Adorable.
4. She Broke Up with Her Boyfriend
Jenna revealed during the Southern Charm Season 1 reunion that she had broken up with her boyfriend Lou. She eventually moved on and started dating Ronnie Radke, the lead singer of the rock band Falling in Reverse. It appears that Jenna and Ronnie eventually broke up, and she was later spotted with Lou again. These days, Jenna is spending a lot of time with her friends and one woman in particular, who she has referred to as "girlfriend" and "wifey" on Instagram.
5. She Got Some Work Done
We think Jenna's body always looked fierce on Southern Charm, but she took it to a whole new fabulous level when she got some AirSculpt Laser Liposculpture done by Elite Body Sculpture's Dr. Aaron Rollins. Jenna lost 20 pounds and got down to a size 00, thanks to the treatment, according to a segment about the procedure featured on The Insider last year (clip above).
And if you follow Jenna on Instagram, you'll see that she's a big fan of beauty treatments of all kinds, from Botox to B12 shots to face masks. Staying this gorgeous takes work, y'all!
6. She Broke Bread with Martha Stewart
Most people can only dream of sharing a meal with Martha Stewart, but Jenna actually did it in June 2015. Sure, the domestic goddess doesn't exactly have the warmest expressions on her face in the pics Jenna posted on her Instagram profile, but who cares when you're in the presence of a legend?
7. Her Dog Is Always Right By Her Side
It looks like one of the constants in Jenna's life has been her pup, who she affectionately named Rat. Just scroll through Jenna's Instagram profile, and you'll see that she doesn't really go anywhere without him, whether it's the nail salon or a trip to Rome. When your pet looks as cute as Rat does, who could blame her?
