Shiva Safai Suffered an Injury While FaceTiming Her Boyfriend Because He Looked "So Hot"

Shiva Safai had an unfortunate accident while preparing her lunch. The former fiancé of Mohamed Hadid —The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Yolanda Hadid’s ex-husband — shared the details of an injury she suffered while she was cooking and FaceTiming her new boyfriend, Niels Houweling.
In a July 20 Instagram Story, Shiva shared a photo in which she’s showing her bandaged finger alongside the meal she was whipping up. “When your boyfriend @themostwntd is so hot you get distracted looking at him on FaceTime while cooking and almost cut your finger off…” she captioned the snap.
Next, Shiva was photographed having her finger fixed up by Dr. Kassabian, a Beverly Hills-based plastic surgeon who has previously worked with Kim Zolciak-Biermann and her daughter, Brielle. Finally, Shiva shared a screenshot Niels had captured while she had returned to her kitchen to finish cooking. “I still finished my lunch!” she wrote. What a champion!

In a May 20 post, Shiva opened up about their first year together. “One year and counting…what a rollercoaster of a ride it has been. WE’ve been through the good, the bad, and the ugly, and it has only made us stronger. We are building our little life together one brick at a time. You know that mental vision board you make when you’re a little girl of how you want your life to look like…? It seems like the universe listened. I love you, and I can’t wait to celebrate a lifetime of anniversaries together.”
