Shannon Storms Beador Reveals Why She and Ex John Are “Never Going to Get Back Together”
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member opened up about her split from John Janssen, and Tamra Judge reacted to the breakup.
Shannon Storms Beador and her ex-boyfriend John Janssen broke up last November. At the time, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member said she was “blindsided” by the breakup and “couldn’t stop crying.”
But now that some time has passed, Shannon seems to have taken the breakup in stride. And she’s not holding out for a reconciliation with her ex. In fact, the mother of three says that she and John will — cue Taylor Swift — “never” get back together. Tamra Judge also has some thoughts on the matter.

Shannon recently spoke to Page Six about the breakup. “It was just a lot of bickering,” she told the outlet, describing why she and John went their separate ways. “There was no major [moment like], ‘Oh my god, you’ve got to walk away!’ It was just the bickering, bickering, bickering. And that’s not a way for anybody to live. We couldn’t get past it.”
Shannon added that she and John are currently on friendly terms. But that doesn’t mean a rekindled romance is in their future. The RHOC cast member told Page Six that she and John are “never going to get back together.”
She’s also not sure that their friendship can remain strong indefinitely. “As soon as either of us [is] in a relationship, [our friendship] of course is going to go by the wayside,” Shannon said. “And I would prefer not to be bitter.”
Tamra Judge reacts to Shannon’s breakup with John Janssen
Tamra, aka “The Judge,” also has plenty to say about her friend’s breakup.
Tamra appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on June 7. During the show, a caller all the way from Ireland asked Tamra whether she was surprised about Shannon and John’s breakup or if she saw it coming. “Well, if you would have asked me that two years ago, I would have been not shocked at all,” Tamra responded.
Tamra continued: “But, filming this season, you have to understand that there was a four-month stretch where I was coming back into the group and being around him, and they seemed very in love. [Shannon] did not tell me at all that things were bad. We have a moment that comes up where we sit down in her backyard and she tells me a few things. But I had no idea that he was gonna dump her.”
Andy commented that Shannon has been “seen a lot” with John lately. And indeed, the two (very platonic) friends recently joined Tamra and her husband, Eddie Judge, for dinner at Tao Asian Bistro in Los Angeles.
The next morning, Shannon shared a photo from the evening. “Fun night with friends…,” she captioned the post, adding the hashtag, “We are not back together.”
