Dorinda Medley and Daughter Hannah Lynch's Throwbacks Are the Ultimate Family Photo Album

The Real Housewives of New York City alum Dorinda Medley has always been open about her life. From her life before the cameras started rolling to her days on RHONY to now, Dorinda has taken fans inside her world -- and that includes her relationship with her daughter, Hannah Lynch, in words and photos.

Dorinda has an unshakeable bond with Hannah, who is her child from her first marriage to Ralph Lynch, who she also remains close to even years after they divorced. We're taking a look back at some of Dorinda and Hannah's sweetest throwback photos, including a cameo from her dad, Ralph, while also hitting rewind on some of the things Dorinda has shared with us over the years about her family.

Dorinda Medley Opens up About Her Ex-Husband and Hannah's Dad, Ralph Lynch

"It’s so funny when Ralph and I got separated and they set up the separation agreement and all that, we never followed. Ralph basically had a key to my apartment and I said 'come by whenever you want.' Her father and I have been friends since. I guess, maybe from living in Europe, it was a little different. When I came back, it was like people hated their ex-husbands. It’s like why? Sometimes you’re not in love anymore. Ralph’s very happily married, has been for years. And, we made sure that we brought people into our lives that liked our former mates, you know, liked our former husband or wife," she explained in an interview with The Daily Dish in 2021.

In fact, at the time, Dorinda noted that Hannah very much takes after her dad: "She’s doing really well. She’s happy. She’s good. Hannah was never really a big part of the show. She doesn’t like the limelight [laughs]. She’s very much her father. She’s much more of an academic. And she stay[s] very much in the shadows. And, you know, even I’m [just] mom to her. I remember we were somewhere, at Bergdorf’s, one day and I was shopping with her. And one time, this woman goes up to Hannah and says, 'Doesn’t your mom always make it nice?' She goes, 'That’s weird. That’s weird, Mom.' Even on the show, she was very scarce. I had to beg her. But the wonderful thing about Hannah is when she was on the show, she had impact."

Hannah definitely made a statement when she shared a photo of herself as a little baby hanging out at home. "Not much has changed since then," she wrote, noting that she's always been "on the phone" and "talking away." In another photo from when she was a kid, Dorinda's daughter gave us a look at what "Little Hannah Banana" looked like. 

In 2015, Hannah was feeling nostalgic and posted a holiday photo with her mom. "Little Christmas," she captioned the sweet moment from when she was a kid. Clearly the holidays were a big deal for Dorinda and her daughter, who also shared another Christmas memory from her childhood a year later.

In another moment captured with her mom, Hannah is smiling while posing in a tree. "Lots and lots of love," she captioned the mother-daughter moment.

While Dorinda makes frequent appearances on Hannah's Instagram feed, she posts less frequently photos with dad Ralph. She did share a snapshot with her father back in 2013. "Happy Birthday to the best father anyone could ask for!" she wrote at the time. "Lucky to have such an incredible role model in my life."

In 2016, Hannah posted a selfie with her mom in which the duo look like twins. "WHEN EVERYONE REFERS TO YOUR MOM AS YOUR SISTER," she captioned the photo, adding, "the OG glamazon, "stealin my thunder," "stop calling us sisters," and "the struggle is real."

Dorinda, by the way, has always made sure to honor her daughter and all the important women in their family over the years. In 2021, she wrote alongside family snapshots, "The invisible string that connect us is so beautiful and forever. Happy Mother’s Day to all the fabulous Mothers!"
