2015: Brittany Cartwright meets Jax Taylor
The year marked big changes for Brittany, a southern belle in her mid-20s, who met Jax in Las Vegas.
Just weeks after meeting in Sin City, Daily Dish reported, she moved to L.A. to be with Jax. He then got Brittany a job at SUR.
She appeared as a guest on Vanderpump Rules Season 4.

2016: Brittany Cartwright’s role expands on Vanderpump Rules
For Season 5 of Vanderpump Rules, Brittany was elevated to recurring status. That meant more exposure to her various charms — and unpredictable encounters with Jax, as their romance grew.
2017: Brittany Cartwright revisits her southern roots
Hay, hay, hay! You can take the girl out of the south, but you can’t take the south out of the girl. The Vanderpump Rules spin-off Vanderpump Rules: Jax and Brittany take Kentucky follows that couple back on her home turf in Kentucky. Drama ensued as Jax got a taste of the farm life and got to know her family better.
2018: Brittany Cartwright gets engaged
Brittany can really rock a rock! Jax popped the question and presented Brittany with a 3-carat engagement ring in 2018. She, of course, said yes — look at that sparkler!
“Omg omg!!!!!!!! We are ENGAGED!,” Brittany gushed in an Instagram post. “What a way to start our summer and season 7!! I am so happy, so in love, and so beyond excited for this next chapter of our lives!”
2019: Brittany Cartwright gets married
In the run-up to the exchange of I do’s, Brittany had a beaming smile.
On June 29, the couple wed in the bride's home state of Kentucky at a castle in front of family, friends, and more of their nearest and dearests.
2020: Brittany Cartwright faces big changes
Like everyone else, Brittany and Jax navigated the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, which necessitated virtual events and a remote Vanderpump Rules Season 8 reunion. By the end of 2020, they both departed the show.
2023: Brittany Cartwright raises baby
In April, Brittany’s dream of being a mom came true with the birth of her and Jax’s son, Cruz.
Like every overjoyed mom, she shared many social media posts about the life-changing event. And like many other moms, she decided to embark on a health journey— and shared that personal time as well.
2024: Brittany Cartwright appears in The Valley
Brittany and Jax's life has changed dramatically from their time on Vanderpump Rules. They went from “clubbing every night with their friends to watching cartoons every morning with their toddler, Cruz, and they wouldn’t have it any other way,” according to a press release for The Valley.
