Ryan Serhant’s Fiancée Emilia Bechrakis Gets Into the Real Estate Game
The #MDLNY agent wants the couple to be the “James and Jane Bond of real estate.”
As we've seen on Million Dollar Listing New York, real estate can be a stressful and cutthroat business — but that doesn't scare Ryan Serhant's fiancée Emilia Bechrakis. Emilia, who was an attorney for a container shipping company, has just made her foray into the real estate industry by taking a new job as a senior sales representative for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company, she recently told The Real Deal. “I’ve flirted with the idea of going into real estate for a while,” she said. “I go to every dinner and every real estate event with Ryan and it’s become a part of my life. No one wanted to talk about maritime law anyway.”
Emilia also said she hopes MDLNY will now follow her to work, too. “I hope that we’ll bring a little sexy to the title world,” she told The Real Deal.
Ryan couldn't be happier about his fiancée joining the biz. “She’s the smartest person I know,” Serhant told The Real Deal. “She’s been more influential on the growth of my business than anyone. If she can handle the highest legal position at the largest global container line, she can handle this.”
The couple is already working on several deals together, according to The Real Deal. Ryan has high hopes that he and Emilia can have just as successful of a business relationship as a romantic one. “We will be the James and Jane Bond of real estate,” Ryan said.
