Riley Burruss Is Officially Quarantined Before Her Freshman Year of College at NYU
The Real Housewives of Atlanta daughter shared an update on her first day at her new school.
Riley Burruss is officially a college girl! The daughter of The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Kandi Burruss seems to be all settled in at her new school, New York University. But, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Riley’s semester is looking a lot different than it normally would.
“I’m currently in quarantine at NYU,” Riley explained in a video shared to her Instagram Story on August 19. “Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do in quarantine? Like, I’m so bored, and it’s only day one.”
According to the NYU website, students from “restricted states,” including Georgia, are required to arrive early to self-isolate for 14 days. The school is also “strongly” recommending that students from states that are not currently considered restricted follow the same guidelines. Students from outside of the tri-state area have also been urged to get tested before leaving their states, and all students are tested upon arrival.
It has only been a day, but Riley is already majorly missed back home in Atlanta. On his own instagram account, Riley’s adorable little brother, Ace Wells Tucker, shared a post about how he is sad to see her go.
“I’m gonna miss you @rileyburruss!!” the photo of Ace and Riley playing at her college send-off party was captioned.
The next day, another sweet photo of the sibling duo was posted with the caption “Missing my @rileyburruss.”
Although little Ace is clearly sad to see his big sister off to school, the RHOA kiddo is already busy with his own online classes at home. According to Kandi, “The day starts off peaceful, and then the kids go crazy after sitting in front of that computer.”
