Here’s What Eva Marcille Was Telling Husband Mike Sterling During the Drama of the RHUGT Trip
The RHOA alum was definitely keeping her husband in the loop while she was away for Peacock’s The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
Eva Marcille’s husband, Mike Sterling, ended up becoming a buzzy topic during Season 2 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip when Brandi Glanville used a certain, um, term to describe him (it’s mangina, that’s the word, OK?). It definitely caused a little bit of friction between Eva and Brandi amid every other kind of drama and action the cast was facing elsewhere in the house.
While she didn’t address whether she told him about Brandi’s comment while they were in the Berkshires, when Eva recently spoke with The Daily Dish, she did reveal the kinds of conversations they had while she was away at Bluestone Manor.
“Well, he got a mixed bag. Because, you know, a day in the house in the Berkshires is like a week. So eight days is like being there for two months,” she recalled. “And there’s so much that happens in a day. And I called my husband and I downloaded him on everything. And it wasn’t always pretty. And we had a few interruptions, which you’ll be able to see when you tune in to this season.”
While she had her husband to lean on remotely, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shared, “I’m built Ford tough, I’m built for this. But he definitely sent me a little surprise while I was up there, and that was nice. You’ll get to see that when the show airs.”
Still, Mike, who made a cameo in the Season 2 premiere, below, certainly served as her cheerleader amid the antics, drama, and everything in between, including her working while vacationing in the Berkshires.
“He definitely gave me my daily pep talk. And you know, I still worked while I was there. The rest of the women slept in every morning and had breakfast, and a chef. And I literally was in the room, in a corner, broadcasting radio every morning,” she said. “It never stopped for me. It was more of an experience for [the RHUGT cast] ’cause they had to hear my loud mouth every single morning. I think I woke the whole house up every morning at six.”
When Brandi was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen recently, the topic of manginas was on the agenda. Check it out below. "OK, first of all, if you watched the show I said he's not a mangina," Brandi said WWHL during a Clubhouse appearance on June 28, where she was joined by fellow RHUGT Season 2 cast member Jill Zarin, who noted, "I didn't even know what it meant."
Well, don’t forget to find out what happens next for the RHUGT Ex-Wives Club cast during Season 2 of the Peacock series. Check out another little bit of drama Brandi found herself in during Season 2 below.
