Mia Thorton Shares a *New* Update About Her Health
On an episode of WWHL, Mia discussed how she’s feeling nearly a year after she first opened up about a cancer scare.
After opening up about an intense health scare, Mia Thornton is officially on the mend.
Back in February 2022, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member revealed on Instagram that she had received “terrible news” about her health, which would require “further evaluation” at Johns Hopkins University’s Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center in Baltimore.
While Mia shared at the time that she had “not been diagnosed as of yet," viewers later learned on Season 7 of RHOP that doctors had found a “few lumps” that were not cancerous. She told the ladies she would be getting an operation to remove the lumps and a swollen lymph node.
In November, when she appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Mia shared a brief but positive update about her health. Fast-forward two months and Mia is opening up again about how she feels now.
On the January 22 episode of WWHL, the entrepreneur confirmed she is on the other side of her health woes.
“Health is good,” Mia said when host Andy Cohen inquired about she was feeling. “We have, like, waved [through] that storm.”
On RHOP Season 7, though the ladies questioned her motives, Mia stood by her decision to post about her health scare before she had a diagnosis. Mia wouldn’t change anything about her aforementioned Instagram post, but does she have any other regrets from the season?
During a game of “Do! You! Regret! It!” Mia revealed that she does regret two things from Season 7. Find out what they are by pressing play on the video above.
